I absolutely loved the video, but I had to watch it on YouTube because it doesn't seem to want to work here. I don't use Adblock or anything, so I'm guessing that there's some sort of formatting issue that needs worked out with the site, which I hope gets sorted out as soon as possible. Crude, hilarious, and definitely worth watching over and over again, so I do hope that whatever the problem is with the video gets sorted out.

Such a cocktease.

Denying Beard Ninja the satisfaction of his soup right off the word go, that's not cool. I'll forgive you though, seeing as the Afro Samurai Jack inspirations really show just as quickly. This is definitely great quality animation right here, and I'm gonna be looking forward to the next part as soon as you have the time to make it happen.

Enjoyable

Both this movie and the first episode by far stand out as prime examples of the high-quality animation, enjoyable stories, and almost disturbingly raunchy humor that I've come to fall in love with here at Newgrounds, and you by all means should be proud to be ranked among the very best here. Even if many people here aren't able to understand the Gumby cameo, the

THANK GOD FOR GUMBY
thanks man. i appreciate it a lot! :D

Absolutely incredible

For a first animation, It is amazingly impressive and relieving to see a person take the time and effort to do a very well done piece of art like this. Despite some roughness at some spots, it is remarkably smooth and fluid for he most part, and I highly detailed despite the sketchy simplicity. I eagerly look forward to a sequel, or any other animations by you for that matter, even if you were to remain at your current skill level as a flash artist.

Pablo-M responds:

wow, thanks! :)

Quite enjoyable indeed

While the animation itself was very simple, and not very action-packed, it's good to see (or more so listen) to a talented cast of voice actors delivering a solid, well-done performance from a well-written script. Its amazing how the aftermath of a single event can be interpreted so differently between two spouses, and it truly reminds me of the typical highbrow, high-society modern nobility. Keep up the good animations in the future.

RobertFord responds:

Thank you for a well written response. I'm glad to see that people aren't just judging animations on its shock value or on its humor as much as the message and story they are telling.

Okay, but boring

While i really like the premise of this animation, there isnt much to keep me interested. Perhaps you could include subtitles of some sort to state which territory is being conquered, and when along with each annexation.

To answer your question:

In order to convert a CS3 file into a Flash 8 file, you only have to go to "File" and click "Save As", then go to where it says "Save as type:" and change "Flash CS3 Document" to "Flash 8 Document".

Spiken0 responds:

I wish It was that easy my friend but The fla file is Not the original file, I need to convert it in Macromedia flash 8, And It doesn't work with mine. It says "Unexpected File format",

Incredibly well done.

I've taken a semester-long course in using flash and I can tell that even if this is your fist submission, you have to have experience using flash since there's no way this is your first time using the program. The animation is fairly decent, the idea of the idea for the writing is pretty good, and the audio quality was superbly topnotch. If I had proper sound recording equipment I'd gladly try taking up your call for voice actors, but seeing as there's no way this couldn't pass judgement, I'm sure you wont have any trouble finding a very talented voice cast to match your own skill as an animator.

Superpowerless responds:

Hi there! thanks a lot for watching and reviewing!

Yeah i've been playing around with flash for a few years but just for drawing rather than animating. This is the first animation I've really gone for :). I've had a really good response from people wanting to do voice work for it! :D

thanks for the compliments on the audio quality, music/producing is my main hobby so I really went for it with the audio!

First episode should be complete in about a week! :D really excited for it! :D

I think you should

While there may be lots of people whose first submissions are sprite movies that unfortunately get blammed, the bit that you did have complete within this animation was better than other sprite movies I've seen. If you actually finished this movie, then I'm sure that I would have voted 2 or 3, but since it is incomplete I have to give it a vote of only 1. If this animation does not make it past judgement, my recommendation is to just finish it up and Im sure it would pass from what I've seen so far of what you have.

Surprisingly pleasant.

While first reading the title, my initial thought was to vote 0, but after watching it loop a few times through I decided to give a vote of 3, because while the animation is very short, the lip syncing is rather extraordinary and the thought of Kirby pulling off the voice of Rick Astley so professionally with a straight face made me smile.
